What do you do when your strength is exhausted and you're tired of the battle? When decisions you've made leave you in a free fall? When you don't know when you will be able to see any results, and your familiar support network is not there? When your life is all about changes, that provide stimulation, and very little about stability, that can offer the much needed break?
You put on the blinders of stubborn and all defying faith. Your belief that you're on the right path has to be ignorant and arrogant. It has to leave no room for reason, which leads to thinking and therefore to doubts and questions. You are desperate for a guiding light, and you want some reassurance that helps you keep going. But that usually comes only after you've deserved it, pulling through moments of confusion, anger and self-pity. You put on the blinders, and you stay on the road you chose. Little by little, with small steps instead of leaps that you naively expected, you will start seeing the fruits of your labour. You simply believe that it will happen. So it must be true.
